In Penang
I haven’t had a chance to play Lunar 2 as much nowadays (nooo!! my Lucia) but when there’s a will, there’s a way. I still haven’t forgotten the good old times yet.
As for the wifi thing, turns out it wasn’t needed after all. Turns out they gathered all the eminent, balded, learned professors and Ph.Ds in the university (mom said the Master degree student simply set up the projector) and they still couldn’t argue with my mom’s friend, who seemed to know everything there was to know about wifi (and why his solution was better than meshes or 3G or WiMAX or the like, really, they didn’t put up much of a resistance, since nobody had WiMAX hardware but wifi, so it was out of the race to begin with, 3G’s backhaul sucks for large loads, and meshes are… well… so yesterday).
But as usual I couldn’t participate. So all that above was what my mom said.
err… so in conclusion, after going to Penang, I STILL don’t have much to talk about.
how’s the food there in Penang? is it good?
well, most of the crap i ate there wasn’t worth mentioning. But there was this guy who could really fry crabs. Probably the best crab I’ve eaten in my life. Then there’s the tandoori restaurant. Best tandoori ever too – although it’s possible i was wooed over just by the strong flavour. Then there’s the place where the owner karaoked…. he wasn’t that great, but he did have a lot of songs.
