Back from the Stone Age

October 16th, 2008 | Categories: Nothing Better to Post

It’s been a week or so (couldn’t help but count since the housing department dipshits wouldn’t get me internet in my room, despite advertising it as free on their brochures all the time). So I’m in the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, math was uninteresting as usual, and I didn’t understand anything when he was talking about longitude and latitude. I’ve got a long way to go, I just lost my pencil case, and my room has no internet and is messy.

On the other hand, I’m looking up geographical coordinates at the moment; I just found out what Socket 3 is for; redownloading Kara no Kyoukai 3, and I just got a spanking new account so I can use the computers in the library at least. Oh, and the bus drivers should be finding the pencil case soon.

in Oldenburg there are no high structures. The highest you can find is probably the church steeple or the cemetery’s steeple. Speaking of which, it’s hard to figure out it’s a cemetery from the outside – it just looks like a church with a very large courtyard. I live in a building which is rather empty inside – looks like it was a building for some larger than life individuals back in their day. I live with two other girls (the other guy is off on some biology field trip for the better part of this month), one of whom is quite hawt, but then again, so are 98% of German girls. Either my concept of beauty was concocted according to European standards, or this is almost heaven.

Almost, because I’m a chicken.

EDIT: Holy Jesus, I tell utorrent to download CLANNAD After Story and 5 minutes later it’s done? This truly is the future of computing!
