Churchmice

I can’t do this. I just simply can’t take being in a church for any longer. And to top it off, my friend invited me to mass tomorrow! On Sunday, 1130am!

And what’s with them all trying to convert me into Christianity? Isn’t this rule: ‘You can’t play our instruments because you don’t believe in God’ a bit silly? Doesn’t it sound a trifle silly, without taking into account that ‘we play the instruments to bring people closer to God through music, so a person who doesn’t believe in God cannot bring the audience closer to God and therefore shouldn’t play’ which in itself does sound a trifle silly too? Well, those are their instruments after all, but that rule is just a bit silly! And what’s with the trollop that says ‘Once you believe in God, you’ll get (more motivated) to play the piano better!’

And you can’t flirt in a church. OK so I guess that’s understandable.

And to top it off, the phrase ‘What The Hell’ came out of my mouth before I realized what I was saying. I’m too scared to go to church again. Any damn church. Any goddamn church, you hear me. There should be a law against having that many rules in one single place.

I’m listening to Megadeth at the moment, turned up to very loud levels. I don’t know why, I just felt a sudden urge to listen to loud, hard metal after coming out of the church. I even put my legs up on the bus seat. I’m bad, I’m telling you. BAD.

Well. What can I say? That is basically the strong religion, religion decides everything and means everything for a lot of people.

That´s why I don´t go to church. I can´t stand all this “oh leave your lives in Gods hand and he´ll make the most of it”. Eh? S/He hasn´t done anything for me so far so why should I bother? If something was done then it must be a stupid God to make me live like this.

And with christianity, well one of it´s “mission” is to convert everyone around them… with violence if so is needed. Which is also a reason for why I hate religion.

People should be free to think what they want. If they want to believe in some God then let them, but don´t let them gain any power in politics or anything that can decide what happends to my life. Then it´s way of the reason for it´s existance.

Religion has also been used quite much as a reason for war. Even though it had nothing to do with religion in the first place. Which is a bit sad since it gives religion a most nonneeded “bad” look. Having to tell people what they should do or read in a book whenever they are uncertain is a bit to much if you ask me.

So I do not beleive in any religion.

“There should be a law against having that many rules in one single place”
—> I believe, having such a law may be for the benefit of some. But nah, I don’t believe that can materialize, at least for a while. Majority of peeps in this world are attached with their respective religions, albeit: Christians and Muslims. Haha! What a world we live in. :)

Thankfully, Catholics here aren’t such tightassed jerks. Of course, all the same, even though I’m legally Roman Catholic, I couldn’t give two shits about religion. It’s way down there on my priorities list.
