    the title appears to be based on the settings for configuring a modem.
    RS232 is the pin-out on the serial connector
    9600 is the baud rate
    8 data bits
    N indicates no parity
    1 stop bit (flow control)

    The RS/6000 is a connector on the other end.

    Close, but no. The RS/6000 is a series of RISC computers from IBM, just like the IBM PC (clones). The entire thing is a log of booting the RS/6000 over serial. Other than that, hey, not bad man! Who are you?

    yeah, I didn’t know what the RS/600 was. now that I’m thinking more about this i realize that it’s just the settings for a serial connection to any device (I used it for hyptertermial to a terminal server back in the day)
