modo 302 works!

On Vista, too! It would always crash before. Screw Infinite Ryvius (hopefully) I’ll be spending my time on this from now on.
EDIT: I’ve been working on sculpting and stuff… modo’s great as ever, it’s just that my shitty GMA950 graphics doesn’t show some of the text on the modeling display when I switch from Model Quad to Model Single, losing the X-Y-Z pointer in the bottom left corner, which is really annoying when it happens, as you can imagine – it crashes in VBO mode, whatever the hell that is – and just 10,000 polygons will make it crawl already. I hate crawling. It’s just a fucking untextured model, for fuck’s sake. How hard can it be to transform a couple thousand polygons anyway? If only modo had some kind of interface that WASN’T rendered with OpenGL.
Well, it is sufficient for simply learning it, I suppose. But I’m switching over to my SGI Octane and Blender as soon as I get that sync on green 13W3 adapter.

this is a CAD prog, right?
oh yeah, I forgot, do you read PC Mag? n_n
No, it’s just a 3D program. Finally, a 3D program that I know how to use. Or at least looks like I can learn how to use it.

I’m just not reading any computer magazines anymore. The internet gives me what I want to read, and besides, it never charges me money. When I read Malaysian computing magazines, especially, I get this incredible feeling of superiority over those writers because they sound so n00bish, but that’s the only reason I’d ever read a computing magazine nowadays.
ohh… I was actually going to ask you if you know John C. Dvorak. hehe.
I’ll try modo 302, thanks for sharing the info.
Of course I know him. Why?
haha. nothing. I just love to read his articles. I also watch him @ Cranky Geeks.
