The Day Before I Leave for Germany
It’s a bit more heart-wrenching to part with my parents than I expected, but that must be a good sign. I hope I’ll do them justice this time in Oldenburg.
On a subject relevant to this blog, I’m suffering from Code Geass withdrawal. The next episode of G00 has probably been out there for days by now, yet I didn’t even think of watching it. Instead, I’m double-clicking on random episodes from Code Geass season 1, and skipping to the important plot points just for the heck of it. I even got around to watching non-anime videos, such as the Lady from Shanghai (1941, Orson Welles, Rita Hayworth). Then I dug through my old GITS:SAC videos. Then it was End of Evangelion. Then it was Evangelion:ReDeath. Sentimental Journey (as you can see), Kara no Kyoukai 1-3 (I admit, very impressed with this one, will blabber later about it), Franz Kafka’s Ein Landarzt, Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, Higurashi and Higurashi Kai, Geass R2, even Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (damn, Mega Megane Moe was right, it is really disappointing and it had potential). Damn, it’s been 5 years and I still don’t get End of Evangelion.
As you can see I really need my Refrain fix…
