Geass R2 24
This is what all 23 previous episodes have been building up to. This is it! Kallen goes beserk, C.C. doesn’t do much (compared to Kallen), Lelouch finally wins over Schneizel and Diethard, and operation Apates Aretia is executed (whatever the fuck that is).
The way in which Lelouch wins over Schneizel is a bit…. weird, though. I understand being able to read a simple Chinese orphan’s thoughts, but a person with whom you talked to a decade ago who always outsmarted you? How is that supposed to work? And he times this even more perfectly than the video with Mao. Obviously the ’smart gimmick’ guy has to be on vacation, they’re doing pretty well without him but they need to make it more believable. Also, Suzaku is overworked as a pilot. Ther’s Kallen, Gino, Toudou, and that’s just off the top of my head. Oh yeah, and Xingke. And right after that, he has to fly back to the front of the ship and throw the Lance of Longinus.
After that, everything’s fly, though. Geassed Schneizel is a huge win (and I can’t believe it was pulled off so smoothly, Lelouch deserves major kudos for this, just like the part when he becomes the emperor), open-eyed Nunnally can’t be worth more than 5 minutes of the next episode (I guess we’re not getting 25+26 again in one big love package), neutralized Freya looks pretty, and finally there are less obstacles getting in Lelouch’s way.
The big problem is what should I watch after good old Code Geass. Great replacement for Death Note (although it seemed like a ripoff at first). It’s become the kind of anime that I watch regularly, while others like Macross F come and go, a religious ritual I partake in weekly. Lelouch >= Haruhi. C.C. > Sheryl. Gundam 00 is a poor substitute. I’m currently evaluating CLANNAD as a replacement, and it seems to be up to the job… except for the ‘all according to plan’ element that can only be found in CG and DN. Come get me the last episode already!
BTW, can’t Schneizel’s bitch (Cornelia) and her pawn (Guilford) stay dead already? Or are they being saved to support Lelouch’s regime later on?
EDIT: THAT animeblog also pointed out a lot of things I missed but kinda felt through disappointment, such as Kallen (dammit Kallen, come make your harem with Lelouch already) and C.C. (what happened, seriously) so go read it. And yeah, I gotta admit, I hope Nunnally dies or something.

So you mean the 1st CLANNAD season didn’t cover all the characters?
well, it did. the 2nd season of Clannad is all about Tomoya x Nagisa; the Future. We also get to see their child, Ushio. Cute kid. hehe.

After watching 19 episodes of CLANNAD, I can say that I am not surprised that those two high schoolers are getting it on already. They seem really well suited for each other. Although it was a bit sad to see Kyou cry (Kyou is hawt).

Well let’s see. First of all, don’t you read Japanese? So you shouldn’t need to ask us people lower in the food chain, but hey, whatever. The only thing the CLANNAD movie didn’t animate was Ushio’s death. I believe the second season will start off when Tomoya and Nagisa marry. That’s a great way to start a tragedy, as Twain might say (might, because he actually was talking about ending Tom Sawyer’s story).
