WHAT? An otaku A nerd getting a job? But what place can resist a guy who says he knows the architectural differences between the Pentium Classic, Pentium MMX and Pentium Pro? Plus the inner workings of Intel’s Core microarchitecture? The Atom? AMD K7, K8, K10?

So I put RM1000 for expected salary, and everybody says they want to pay me monthly because that’s the way it is over here, and nobody pays biweekly. So why did Dad tell me to look for employers that would pay me biweekly then?

In any case, RM1000 is pretty neat. I hate the number 9. You see it everywhere, especially in America. Heck, there even was once a graphics company called Number Nine! Thankfully they’re dead now. S3 ate them for breakfast. There was this guy who offered me RM900, but said he would pay me monthly. I said no thanks. Why? Because that place looked terribly lonely.

I plan to use RM550+more to get a PSP (plastic figurines are worthless pieces of shit, my Grimrock remixed Asuka and Rei are more than enough to grace my computer monitor). The white PSP and black PSP are selling for the same price, it seems (same with the PS3, who wouldn’t want a white PS3 unless it was the 40GB one?) so of course I’m getting the white one. It’s way cheaper than what I could get in Canada, anyway. The only problem is the memory stick. First thing I’m gonna put on there is Lunar Eternal Blue. Then Suikoden 2. Then Final Fantasy 8. Then MGS… well now let’s not count our chickens before they hatch. The rest will go to getting my parents out of those red bills that come all the time. Motherfuckers think they can cheat some more money out of us. The rest, as I’ve said, will go to those horribly efficient motherfuckers who make a living out of smashing other people’s heads in. That’ll teach them.

Then again, the PS3’s RM1400. Ah, screw that, I’ll just have to buy that in Europe. Plus, RM600 isn’t enough to pay any bill monthly!

I start tomorrow, at 10am. There’s also gonna be some kind of PC Fair, where it’s apparently very tiring and stuff. I think of it as a field trip, albeit a slightly more boring one, unless I can see a dual quad-Opteron with Crossfired HD 4850/4870s. Remind me to wake up early!
