when Ritsuko times out

ARSTechnica has been bought by Conde Nast. They seem pretty happy about it, so the best to them. I’ve always enjoyed reading Hannibal’s CPU architecture commentaries, especially the tidbits about IBM’s POWER* CPUs that common people like you and me never even hear about.

I managed to hack the Wordpress 2.5 gallery somewhat so that it would display my desktop screenshots. It was a pain in the ass – I uploaded the screens through FTP, see, and the damn stupid Media Library thing won’t recognize it unless you upload it through there. So I had to do lots of unnecessary housekeeping and stuff, and install the add media to library from server plugin, and mess with filename schemes that go the opposite way of my brainwaves, just to get this shitty page up. I am so installing Gallery next time… and when that happens, I’ll have to rename everything my way again (sigh).

Oh yeah, and I don’t have much to write about lately. Incredible, I know. Perhaps I need to get more of a life? Or just more money in my bank account? Or buy more drinks and eat better food? who knows.

And my Akiha V. is now constantly losing to my friend’s Nrvnqsr Chaos, and most embarassingly, Kohaku! Bull-fucking-shit! My Akiha V., losing to Kohaku? Just fuck my ears and kill me already.

Just finished downloading 11eyes, which I probably won’t be able to play until I get my Japanese completely working. They say Chaos:Head is good too. Disk space just keeps running out the door.

And my neighbour says he wants a website. For free. And I haven’t even got my job yet. GOD DAMN.

EDIT: whoa whoa wait… what!!????

Did I hit some kind of jackpot? An admin’s IP, perhaps? Regardless, they must have recognized me as a true downloader!!! mwahahahahhaaha….

EDIT2: Ceh… having second thoughts about the idea. I’m just too used to the old one. I’ll install Gallery soon, no doubt about it. Wordpress’s Gallery sucks.
